Hi Ladies! I wanted to do a face and outfit of the day for you since I have not done one of these in forever! I wanted to keep the look neutral enough for daytime, since I wore this look to an afternoon event, but you can easily transition it into an evening look by adding some dark brown/black eyeshadow in the outer v part of the eye.

I took a little of orgasm the multiple and applied it to my cheeks as a base. After that I applied by candlelight as my cheek highlight, hipness blush to my cheeks, and contoured with my almost bronzer. Hi Lovelies! I don't know about you, but summer is my favorite season. I love spending time at the beach and pool soaking in the sun. Although I enjoy tanning, I try to keep my face from getting too much exposure (we don't want premature aging!) That is why I love bronzing powders; they give a natural glow to your face without harmful side effects.
I have four bronzing powders in my collection:
-Physicians Formula Bronze Booster -Mac Golden Bronzing Powder -Clinique Almost Bronzer -Nars Laguna Bronzer
All of these bronzers provide a nice all-over glow. I have had the Clinique Almost Bronzer the longest and it gives a very subtle bronzing effect. I purchased Mac's Golden Bronzing Powder last year from a collection and it's nice, but I don't reach for it all that often. Nars Laguna works well for an all-over bronzer or for contouring. You need to be careful when applying it or it can end up looking dirty, which is not attractive. Lastly, Physician's Formula is a pretty decent bronzer, especially for a drugstore product. It provides a really pretty subtle glow that looks very natural. Above are swatches of the bronzing powders. I did heavy swatches so that the colors would show up well against my skin-tone. Although I enjoy and use all of these bronzing powders, I am always on the lookout for something better. What are your favorite bronzers for summer? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for stopping by!

Have you ladies checked out Mac's newest collection Quite Cute? Well if you have not, you should because it is adorable and it is going fast! I had a huge list of things that I wanted to purchase, but I am trying to cut back on makeup spending so I limited myself to a couple things.
If you are a sucker for pastels and hearts, this collection is for you. It is bright, fun, and perfect for spring. The collection consists of mineralize blushes, plushglasses, lipsticks, lip liners, and an eyeshadow quad. I ended up purchasing the pink blush called Giggly and the lavender lipstick called Quite Cute. I also own In Synch lip liner, which I had purchased when it was first released last year.
My Thoughts on the Collection:The mineralize blushes are adorable, but the actual product quality is so-so. Don't get me wrong, these heart blushes are the to die for, but the pigmentation is lacking. All of the blushes are super sheer on the skin, and very powdery. I had to pack on the blush to see any color on my cheeks. Giggly was the most pigmented of the three so I ended up buying it.
All of the plushglasses are beautiful but I can't use Mac plushglasses because the formula irritates my lips. Definitely test out the product before buying it if you can to make sure that your lips handle the formula. I really liked the colors Fashion Fanatic (the pale yellow-based pink) and I Love You (the soft lilac gloss).
The lipsticks are also gorgeous and I wanted them all! Candy Yum-Yum is really pretty but it is a little too hot pink for me. Playing Coy is a nice light peachy nude that is super pale on the lips. St. Germain is a pretty pastel pink that looks gorgeous in the tube but looks a little cartoon-ish on me. It's too bad since I really like the color :(. Playtime is a bright violet color which looks really nice on for a bright pop of color. Lastly, Quite Cute is a pale lavender which reminds me of Lavender Whip, a color I missed out on a couple of years ago. I just had to have it. While it is a nice lavender, it is a little to purple on it's own so I must pair it with a pink lip gloss to make it wearable.
I passed on the nail polishes only because I already own similar colors from Essie and OPI. The eyeshadow quad is not very pigmented so I passed on that as well. I am not a huge lip liner person so I did not purchase any of the lip liners in this collection. However, I do own the In Synch lip liner from a previous collection. It is a pretty yellow-based pale pink liner.
I am really happy with this collection and I love when MAC releases really girly stuff like this. I almost wish Mac would have done special packaging (Pink Perhaps?) because that would have made this collection even better. What did you girls pick up from Mac's Quite Cute Collection? Leave me a comment :)
Hi Everyone! I hope you guys had a good New Years! I am lagging a little bit on this post since Cham-Pale launched on the 26th of December. I checked out the collection last week and purchased two items. I was intending to buy a couple more things, but by the time I made it to the counter several items were already sold out :(
I purchased the Eye Kohl in I Get No Kick and Fix + in Lavender. I Get No Kick is and soft champagne nude with metallic sheen. It is a really pretty highlight for the inner corner or possibly for the waterline to brighten up the eyes. I like it much better than a stark white liner because this looks more natural. I also got Fix+ in Lavender because it smelled amazing and I use Fix + on a regular basis.

I was also interested in the Paint Pots, the Lipgelees, and the Caviar Dreams Quad. Many of the Lipgelees were already sold out as were most of the Paint Pots. The Paint Pots were much more sheer and sparkly than I expected which was disappointing. Vintage selection was the most opaque out of the four. I was most interested in the Chilled On Ice Paint Pot, but I hesitated because it looked very close to Bare Study (which I own). My friend Ashley bought it and I got to try hers out and now I need it. It is a cool-toned shimmery pale yellow gold. I will most likely go back and get more things from Cham-Pale (Darn you MAC and you Limited Edition Collections!) so I will keep you updated on what I end up getting. What do you girls think of Cham-Pale? Leave me a comment and tell me what you got. Thanks for reading! xoxo-Stacy
Here is a neutral makeup look that I did featuring the Naked Palette by Urban Decay and Venomous Villains Products. I have been wearing this look for the last couple days and it is perfect for the daytime. I love reading face of the day posts on other blogs so I thought you would enjoy :)

Naked Palette eye shadows in the colors Virgin, Naked, Toasted and Hustle
Naked Palette eyeliners in Whiskey and Zero

Face:

Mac Briar Rose Beauty Powder
Clinique Almost Bronzer
Lips:
Mac Innocence Beware
First I primed my face with primer potion and applied my foundation with my fingers. Next I applied concealer and MSF powder to set my foundation. The I applied painterly paint pot on my eyelids. With a flat shader brush I put the color toasted all over my lids. I then took a Mac 217 crease brush and applied naked in the crease and blended it up. Next I put hustle in the crease, focusing on the outer v and blended it out. I then took a Sigma 219 brush and smudged hustle right under the lower lash line. After that placed virgin on the brow bone and on the inner corner of my eyes. I used the double sided urban decay liner that came with the palette and lined my upper lash line with the color zero and my water line with the color whiskey. To finish off the eyes, I curled my lashes and applied loreal voluminous mascara.
With a Mac 129 Brush I placed briar rose beauty powder on my cheeks. I then applied by candlelight on my cheek bones as a highlight, which gives a nice glow from within. With my Sigma 150 brush I applied my bronzer all over my face, focusing on the hollows of my cheeks, temple, and jawline. Lastly I applied the lipstick innocence beware to finish off the look.
I hope you liked it! Let me know what you use for your neutral eye look.
Okay, I really should have posted these reviews much earlier, since these MAC collections launched in June and July (Fail).Well I really like these products so I am going to do a post anyways :)
MAC: To The Beach Collection
I was looking forward to this collection for months! The packaging is adorable, and the colors and fun and summery, perfect for the beach.I wanted to purchase the whole collection, but I restrained myself and only purchased five items:
Lazy Day Lipstick
Easy Lounger Lipglass
Hipness Blush
Sand and Sun Eyeshadow
Golden Bronzer
Lazy Day is a soft pink lipstick which looks very similar to MAC’s permanent lipstick in Angel with the exception of the finish (Lustre vs. Frost). It is great for an everyday subtle lipstick.Easy Lounger is a light pink gloss with multidimensional shimmer which works great over most lipsticks.Hipness blush is an bright coral blush, great for the summertime.Sand and sun is a nice peachy color, although the eye shadow is a bit chalky.Lastly, Golden is a nice basic bronzer to have. I mostly just wanted this compact for the packaging lol. This is definitely one of MAC’s better collections.
MAC:In The Groove
I picked up five items from this collection as well:
Stereo Rose Mineralize Skinfinish
Jazzed Cremesheen Lipstick
On The Scene Cremesheen Glass
Hang Loose Mineralize Blush
By Candlelight Mineralize Skinfinish (not pictured above)
Below are some swatches
My favorite item by far is Stereo Rose Mineralize Skinfinish (on my cheek in the pic below). It gives the most gorgeous coral-peach glow on the cheeks. It is like a blush and highlighter rolled up into one perfect package.Stereo Rose leaves no obvious glitter on the cheeks like some of the other mineralize skinfinishes. In my opinion, it definitely lives up to the hype, and I highly recommend it.
Jazzed is a beautiful coral-peach lipstick that is neither too orange nor too pink.It looks great paired with on the scene cremesheen glass (pictured below) or by itself.I have been enjoying this combination all summer long.
Hang Loose mineralize blush is a blue-toned pink blush that looks very similar to MAC’s well dressed blush from the permanent line.I have also used the lavender side as an eyeshadow a couple times.
Lastly, I recently ordered By Candlelight.I have not received it yet which is why it is not in my pictures. However, I did try it out in the store and it is a gorgeous pink-champagne color.I plan to use it as a highlighter for my cheeks.
